On the 3rd day of December….Belfast Christmas Market

Thanks for visiting my blog again, as I endeavour to blog daily until Christmas Eve.

For this 3rd day of December today I am sharing about 2 recent trips to Belfast Continental Christmas Market. We try to go annually, and the kids always really enjoy it. This year I have managed to fit in two trips. The first one was a day trip on the train with my son. The train added to the excitement of the day, and trains are much warmer and cleaner than when I commuted daily to my job in the bank 15 years ago!

Here are a few pics from our day trip.

On the train.

I loved these wreathes and bird-seed feeders.

I love the Christmas market even more after dark. The lights, sights, smells and sounds all seem more magical. We went as a family last Sunday at 4pm, and I have made this slideshow to share with you. I hope you have time to look.

Finally, another J M Digital Design customised layout I recently completed. The lady requested that I use a very old photo to create a layout for her elderly father who loves to reminisce about his youth and days spent working on a farm.

Please leave a comment if you can, and be sure to return tomorrow for my next instalment!

  1. Oh wow!!! Your pics are just gorgeous! What a fun trip! Love all of those wreaths too…. puts me in the holiday frame of mind. Thanks for sharing!

  2. OK – I love all of your pictures, but I can’t take my eyes away from that first one … THAT HAIR! I just love it!

  3. I wish we had a real market here. We’ve got Walmart and all the boxies here, but no market, sigh.

The seed wreaths are SUCH a great idea. I’m thinking, I’m THINKING!

Your slideshow is getting me in a festive mood, this combined with yesterday’s women’s inter-church gathering. It was a gathering up of women from all across our valley – about 125 with some inspiring shared ideas and singing and crafts.

I hope you have a great day, my friend.
