Long time no see!

SorryI have been absent for a while. Life has been keeping me busy. Here is what has been happening:

Kids back to school – P6 and P4 this year. Sam has started playgroup this year too, so I have a few mornings to myself for the first time in 3 years. I have been able to return to the gym, which is good (but in a painful sort of way!).

As I have a little more time (!) I am investigating doing some digital scrap booking for others (also known as Scrap for Hire or S4O – Scrap for Others). I am continuing to make all my cards and most of my gifts now using digital scrapbooking, and have had some interested expressed in creating for others. I will keep you posted on how I get on, and of course if you are interested be sure to get in touch.
We went to an airshow in Portsrush last weekend, the highlight of which had to be the Red Arrows, the RAF display team of 9. They gave an amazing performance, although proved a bit too noisy for Sam.
So on to my latest layouts, here they are
First one using my fav photos of the girls on the beach this summer.
Next a layout I created for a friend as a 40th birthday gift, using Amid Memories, the first digital kit I ever purchased (available here ) – I always love to come back to this kit.
This photo of the kids was taken on the evening of my 40th birthday. I found the colours in the photo tricky, but was really pleased with the outcome. In case you are wondering, they are standing in the middle of a sculpture of a fish/boat thing (!) near the harbour in Portstewart.
Finally, just for comparisons sake, here is one of my very first layouts (as you can see I knew so little – I cringe just looking at it, not quite sure I should be including it) beside a recent one, using basically the same photos. I hope you consider I have improved!!!

So that’s me up to date.
Remember how I love those comments (and I am still waiting for Louise to comment – go on Mrs A, give it a go!).
If anyone has anything they would like to know about life here in Northern Ireland – go ahead – I will do my best to answer!
Take care
JanMary
