Summer Days and NOT an Apology

It has been a week of contrasts here at our cottage near the sea

there have been warm (yes, actually warm!) sunny days and wet and very damp days

there has been the crazy busy of CSSM for the kids (but they wouldn’t miss it for the world)

and quiet afternoons making jewellery or walking on the beach

there have been sleep overs………….and not much sleeping!

My son went to 4 days of surf school (more on that in a post of it’s own)

We have toasted marshmallows on the beach

and there have been some stunning sunsets

there has been more playing in fountains

 and paddling

 and jumping

One of the rules of blogging (if you pay attention to rules) is to NOT apologise for not blogging.

So I am NOT apologising ….. maybe just explaining……

that blogging will be a bit intermittent and erratic over the summer ……

but while there are rock pools to explore, beaches to paddle in, and sunsets to marvel at …….

this unreliable service may continue for some time.

I hope so!

So in the meantime I will leave with a few more of my favourite places from this week – all within about 12 miles of our cottage

I love your comments …. hint, hint! What is your favourite way to spend a summer day?

  2. Sounds like your all have a very wonderful summer. Love the pictures. My fav to do is travel and hang on the beach and I currently am doing neither. 🙁        enjoy your time.
