We are fully in the midst of the madness of the pre-Christmas week – by Christmas Eve we will have attended 6 carol services and the kids will be at 5 parties. Last night Sarah had her 10th birthday party – a Pyjmama Party which included a Bratz DVD and the making of purple mini…
This morning I had the unpleasant experience of someone accessing my email account, blog etc, and sending out a distressing email to my friends and contacts. I was allegedly in Spain, having been mugged, and of course I needed you to send me money! It was spotted quickly, and I was touched by the number…
I’m back, and I missed blogging last week, but not SO much that I actually got around to doing it! Did you miss me? Did you notice? …….. probably best if you don’t answer that……. So here is what have I NOT blogged about – Valentines Day, a weekend at the cottage on the north…
This morning I had the opportunity to go (child-free) by train into Belfast to St George’s Christmas Market. It was a combination of food and gifts (mostly jewelery it seemed) and I enjoyed browsing, taking a few photos, and making a few purchases. This is the first year I have managed to attend, but the…
My mum’s florentines are infamous, and I frequently am asked for the recipe. Before sharing it, I have to confess I have never made them myself. As my Mum delivers boxes of them from time to time, I have never had to (thanks Mum!). So I am delighted to share this recipe, and how you…

great photos JanMary! love the candles and the fairy lights! And love/fully appreciate the photo inclusion of you! You and your family look lovely! 🙂 ooh, the t-shirt does say it all, LOL, but such a sweet little grin!It might be his way of telling you that he is too big for a cot…and now the fun begins with having to put everything up high, out of reach. I personally wish my ceilings were magnets and when I let go of things, they would just fly up and stick to the ceiling! (I have run out of room on top of high bookcases, fridges etc, LOL)
Have a great week end! 🙂
