This year we made the same teacher gifts as last year for my son’s teacher and classroom assistant. For each vase you need a straight drinking glass about 30 new pencils per vase (more than you think!) some blue tac a glue gun (I assume most glues would work, but I like to live dangerously!)…
This week in Snapshots from around the world the theme is baskets – so the perfect excuse to share the baskets from the local markets which I should have didn’t buy! We are about half way through our house swap here in France, if you have a moment, you can check out my previous posts, including…
This year I have FOUR great friends who all turn 40, 2 already have, and 2 more in the next couple of months. Several years ago we planned a night away in September 2010 to celebrate, and I was very honoured as a “40+3” to be included. As you can imagine my camera went too…

great photos JanMary! love the candles and the fairy lights! And love/fully appreciate the photo inclusion of you! You and your family look lovely! 🙂 ooh, the t-shirt does say it all, LOL, but such a sweet little grin!It might be his way of telling you that he is too big for a cot…and now the fun begins with having to put everything up high, out of reach. I personally wish my ceilings were magnets and when I let go of things, they would just fly up and stick to the ceiling! (I have run out of room on top of high bookcases, fridges etc, LOL)
Have a great week end! 🙂
