Irish eyes are smiling even more today!

I imagine many of my blog visitors do not follow rugby union, but today, for the first time since 1948, Ireland won the 6 Nations Championship and the Grand Slam (which means they beat each of the other nations – England, Scotland, France, Italy and then today in a very close and exciting match, Wales). I don’t watch much sport, but I do enjoy rubgy. You can see more about the match HERE.

It is only 2 weeks until our current kitchen/family room is having lots of work done – new kitchen units, new appliances, new flooring, new storage in the family room…….

In preparation for that we are doing lots of packing and sorting through, and today made lots of progress. The walls and shelves are starting to look bare. I am taking lots of photos, and will share the “journey” with you all.

Module 4 of my online photography course is Portraits. I made a start this afternoon, and here are a couple of my willing “volunteers”. I enjoy photographing people so much more than buildings.

Only a few more hours to enter the St Patrick’s Day Blogging Carnival, and if you don’t comment on THIS post, you won’t have a chance of winning! Don’t say you weren’t warned.

Looking forward to a lie-in for Mother’s Day tomorrow morning.
