February Dawn

There was a beautiful sunrise this morning. This was taken about 8.15 am here in N Ireland.

Snow is forecast for tomorrow, and in South East of England they are experiencing lots of snow today. My dh is away in South West England today, and I am praying he gets home before the snow reaches Bristol.

Tonight (weather and dh’s flight home permitting) I am going to a Frock Exchange/Clothes Swap party. A number of my friends have had their colours analysed (Colour Me Beautiful I think) and so the plan is we bring our clothes, bags, jewellry to swap. We will have a good nights “crack” (not drugs I promise – crack means fun here in Northern Ireland) and hopefully come home with a few replacement items for our wardrobe. I will let you know how it goes.

My daughters finish school at 1.30pm every day this week, as there are parent/teacher interviews after school, so that give them plenty of time to PACK FOR DISNEY! (Yes, we are excited).

  1. Ohhhhhhhh, gorgeous photo!

I can tell you’re excited about Disney … I’ve seen your ticker count down for awhile now! I hope you have a wonderful time!

(BTW – you DID just redo your header, right? I love it – but I just want to make sure it’s new? Because I hate to think how my observation skills have declined in the last year.)

  2. Your picture is beautiful! The “girls” party sounds like tons of fun. A swap is a great idea.

Thanks for visiting the domestic fringe the other day. Hope you come back soon!

  7. Wow…gorgeous photo!!!

I heard there are a lot of delays at the airports there, so hopefully your dh made it home safely. I’ll be at Disneyland in CA on the 17th! Then…probably again in April. I only live an hour away though! LOL! I would love to go to DisneyWorld!

  12. Ohhh – thank you for the sunrise, yours was definately superior to mine here, today. The temps have been warmer though.

Your dress swap sounds like VERY much fun, oh HOW I wish I could join in. You WILL take photos… right? Great 365 fodder *ahem*

I can visualize your friends all being ‘altered’ in photoshop LOL – you know where I’m going here with my whacky sense of humor… ok friend #1 you overlay with … YELLOW, friend #2 VIOLET, friend #3 BLUE… hehe, could make a sweet layout. Whatever ‘color’ they are figured out to be.

The ‘crack’ thing – thanks enlightening us. I believe I’ve heard a good Van Morrison song using it in this way.

I’ve been sick with a sore throat etc the past few days, can you pray for me please, my friend?
