The Cliffs of Moher, more from the home exchange

These cliffs are probably the most famous in Ireland, and the photos hopefully speak mostly for themselves!

It was a beautiful clear sunny day, and despite warning our kids to bring extra layers as it would probably be blustery, it was actually warm, perhaps almost hot!

The only thing that impressed the kids more than the cliffs, was the size of the ice-creams.

There was a sign, which no-one but us seemed to be paying any attention to, but we did not risk our 6 year old near the cliff edge.

Finally, a few pictures of the surrounding area, known as The Burren, taken from the moving car, while on the road –

We only have one more day of our home exchange trip to Galway to share, I’m sure you can’t wait!

I love some comments, but I don’t want to beg (hint, hint!)

  1. ok- so you’ve got the best photos so far of the cliffs –
    so clear –
theres always so much cloud cover when I’ve been there

  2. Oh gracous JM, your photos are incredible – on my wish list for to come and visit ONE DAY. Honestly, when I see beauty like this it brings tears to my eyes and THATS praising the Lord to just be able to see something like it. Its wonderful to go to church and be with church family, but something about being out in nature, seeing something like this, the majesty etc that really speaks of His creation. Sorry, but I can’t help but feel this way.

THANK YOU for sharing your gorgeous photos.

    Love, Barb

  3. I love the Burren! I use (sparingly, to make it last as long as possible!) the most wonderful perfume from The Burren Perfumery. Gorgeous photos!
