Day trip to Bangor
As the song says ……. “Didn’t we have a lovely time, The day we went to Bangor!” (although this folksong was not about Bangor in Northern Ireland, but the Bangor in Wales) HERE is the link to YouTube – enjoy! And HERE are the lyrics Today I headed east of Belfast to Bangor, which is…
Family Trip to Florida Part 7 Animal Kingdom
We have just pasted the half-way point of our holiday – and loving it! On Saturday morning we headed to the Florida Mall for those who wanted to spend some more dollars! (I didn’t spend anything!) We also managed to meet up with another bloggy friend, Laura, who drove up to meet us for lunch….
How to do Autumn / Fall Decor
I love Autumn (Fall) decor, and one of my favourite Pinterest boards at the moment is this one Autumn Fall Decor. Here in N Ireland there isn’t much seasonal decorating in the home apart from Christmas. It is a considerable challenge to find autumnal decorating supplies here as there aren’t really decorative items in…
Remembering the Titanic – with taste?
Titanic memorabilia – I have mixed feelings on this. I visited the Titanic Experience museum in Belfast on it’s opening weekend, and there have been LOTS of interesting documentaries and dramas on TV. I have read a few books and found them fascinating. Those are some beautiful photos 🙂 Isn’t it great to live in a place where fall is so colourful?
love the horsechestnut leaves. Really pretty! Did you notice as many conkers this year? some of the local trees have none at all, yet other years they had hundreds! Loved the harvest photos too. I have a few of my own to put up soon. x
We haven’t managed to find any conkers, but did see a few empty shells, so I assumed everyone else just beat us to it …. but maybe there are much less this year.
Hi JM –
Oh, you’d have me choose? Erm, I’m terrible at this for I think all of your photos are lovely. I miss summer, but the changing of the leaves is so interesting! The cooler weather awakens a desire in me to stay home, snuggle in and CRAFT!
