Lovely afternoon for a walk on the beach in Ballycastle
Sharing my daily iPhone photos on my blog I love this view of Fairhead from the beach in Ballycastle. Found a few pieces of seaglass too to that was a bonus. We didn’t linger too long as still breezy and chilly, but a definite promise of spring/summer!
Review of 2015 – part 2 – purchases
Another review of 2015, first we had travel, now we have purchases! I enjoy browsing around vintage/antique shops, and was delighted to come across these two in Dromore After quite a while of my iPhone 4s being quite unreliable, I was finally able to upgrade to an iPhone 5s in April – deep joy! After…
My earliest childhood memory
A trip down memory lane today – my earliest childhood memory. We moved from Enniskillen to Ballymena when I had just turned 5, so all early memories are from my Co Fermanagh days. Not sure which of these is the earliest – so here are a few: I remember playing in our back garden in…
Top 10 places to visit on Causeway Coast of N Ireland
Due to popular demand and a narrow victory (by one vote on the readers poll) this post is in my opinion the top 10 places we love to visit in the north coast of Northern Ireland – also known as the Causeway Coast. I have included our favourite beaches, harbours and historic monuments and illustrated…
On the 19th of December some Christmas plates and bowls and birthday cake
A short post tonight – just some photos of my collection of christmas plates, bowls and small dishes which is a slowly growing collection. I’ve picked them up here and there, usually in the sales, or in the supermarkets – nothing to precious or expensive, but I like them! I know they look like large…
Coffee Time – a guest post!
When prompted to write a blog post about coffee, it was definitely a challenge….. as I haven’t touched the stuff in over 20 years! I did drink coffee as a teen, but as I gradually took it weaker and weaker, sweeter and sweeter, I realized I didn’t really like the taste of it any more! Apart from…
Beautiful pictures! Autumn is my favourite time of year.
Clare
Those are some beautiful photos 🙂 Isn’t it great to live in a place where fall is so colourful?
love the horsechestnut leaves. Really pretty! Did you notice as many conkers this year? some of the local trees have none at all, yet other years they had hundreds! Loved the harvest photos too. I have a few of my own to put up soon. x
We haven’t managed to find any conkers, but did see a few empty shells, so I assumed everyone else just beat us to it …. but maybe there are much less this year.
Hi JM –
Oh, you’d have me choose? Erm, I’m terrible at this for I think all of your photos are lovely. I miss summer, but the changing of the leaves is so interesting! The cooler weather awakens a desire in me to stay home, snuggle in and CRAFT!
Blessings from
