A Hectic June Catch-up

I always thought that December was the most hectic term (and it is just 6 months to Christmas by the way!) but this June has been jam-packed.

We have survived the exams, the results and the reports!  (as usual only 1 of the 3 prepared to get a photo!)

Everyone is quite excited for the end of term – including me!  When the kids were smaller, I enjoyed the routine of the school term……. now I can’t wait for the summer holidays, the routine to relax, and the hectic-ness to subside.

Here are a few of my iPhone pics since my last blog post to help me remember what we have been up to!

I delivered Janmary Designs jewellery to the Beech Hill Country House in Derry. A lovely hotel we stayed in a few years back, with lovely grounds too.

We celebrated Fathers Day with my Dad

The Obamas were in Belfast

Last weekend was also “music-exam season” and I managed to fit in a quick visit to Castle Ward on Friday afternoon before taking one of my daughters to her piano exam in Ballynahinch (she was at Castle Ward doing a Beyond the Classroom outdoor pursuits day with school – a stunning setting!)

Last Saturday was probably the craziest busiest day in a LONG time –

10am  – 12.30pm Started with setting up my jewellery at a coffee morning
1 – 3pm  was spent face painting at a Damask community fun day at our church (I can’t take the glory for most of these!)

4.30 pm  took other daughter to her singing exam in Belfast
6 pm took same daughter to St Patricks to school choir rehersal
7.30 – 8.30pm  attended aforementioned St Patricks to hear her choir sing

9 pm delivered same (equally exhausted) daughter to a birthday party
9.30 pm – home and collapsed!

Phew!

Sunday Lunch we went to Pizza Express

More jewellery delivered on Monday – this time to the new stockist Clotworthy House in Antrim

Despite the threatening looking sky it didn’t actually rain!

On Tuesday ……. new iPhone 5! My 2 year contract on my iPhone 4 was finally finished – and here is my first photo with the new phone. I am really impressed with the quality of the camera, and think it compares well with the DSLR photo at the top of this post. What do you think? Let me know 🙂

Finally – hoping to launch a revamped blog on WordPress very soon – watch this space!

Congrats on making it to the end of this post …….!
