5 December A stormy day followed by a night at the museum (almost)

Planning to blog daily in December, just a quick post tonight.

There were some very strong winds in N Ireland this morning, and spotted this tree down in Lisburn at 8.30 this morning.

We were more fortunate than some as we didn’t loose our electricity supply, the lights just flickered a few times. Other parts of the UK have been much harder hit, and some coastal areas have been evacuated due to the risk of flooding at high tide tonight.

This evening I was displaying my Janmary Designs jewellery at the Ulster Museum. It was the Women in Business Christmas networking event – and it was lovely to be in such an impressive building, especially when the public had all gone home.

Billy Dixon, an image consultant, gave a very entertaining as well as motivational talk. So not quite a night at the museum, but an enjoyable evening at least.

So that was my day, how was yours?
